JSA Has Summer Fun All Sorted


Can you believe it? The summer holidays are already here, and for those of us with school age kiddies that means nearly two months of vacation time to fill. Aaargh!! I hear the collective cry from parents across the island! If you aren’t toddling off on an overseas jaunt and are searching for some awesome activities to engage your children during the summer break, take a good look at the Junior Sports Academy’s Holiday (JSA) Program.

Designed to entertain children from ages six to seventeen, the JSA Holiday Camps encourage active participation across a huge range of exciting sports, starting with week one from June 22nd and continuing over six weeks until July 31st. But it’s not just the same ol’ sports for the duration of the program. Children have the option to choose from three different camp schedules, jam packed with fun and fitness.

Weeks 1, 3 and 5 offer kids from as young as six a daily agenda comprising a medley of exciting activities including soccer, tennis, gymnastics, trampolining, ten pin bowling and water slide shenanigans to name a few! Daily sessions run from 9.15am until 3pm, are fully supervised and include a healthy lunch and snack. Each day offers a different selection of activities so that those who want to attend the camps for the full week won’t have a chance to be bored! Drop in for the day or join for the week. With prices as low as Rp400,000 per day and Rp1,800,000 for the week (for FINNS Recreation Club members), it’s a very economical, safe and secure solution for school holiday entertainment.

Weeks 2, 4 and 6 are for those who love their on field games or outdoors action with the Sports Specific Camps. Choose your favorite from a long list of sports including swimming, soccer, AFL Auskick, tennis, trampolining, basketball, bowling, gymnastics or dance. Now that’s an all inclusive list that’s sure to offer something for everyone!

For those slightly more mature children who are seeking additional adventure and adrenalin charged action, the Junior Sports Academy has introduced another thrilling element to their holiday program with the JSA Adventure Camps, running across weeks 1, 3 and 5. Participants from a minimum age of 10 years can delight in daily adventures like white water rafting, paintball, trekking, mountain biking, getting up close and personal with the elephants at the Safari Park or taking it to new heights at Treetops Adventure Park! Prices are per child, per day depending on the activity and bookings must be made a minimum of 24hours in advance. All Adventure Camp fees include transfers, insurance and meals for the day’s excursion as well as bonus activities back at FINNS Recreation Club!
