Let's rewind on the key moments of 2023 at FINNS Recreation Club, showcasing memorable events, achievements, and experiences that defined the year.

The year 2023 was monumental for FINNS Recreation Club, from high-energy tournaments, camps and races, to fully reinvented spaces and the opening of the biggest boxing studio in Canggu – we created experiences and amenities that enriched our members and community. As we reflect on the highlights of the past year, 2023 elevated FINNS Recreation Club to spectacular new heights! Let’s rewind through some of the most significant moments that made 2023 an amazing chapter in our history.

This past year was jam-packed with exhilarating happenings across the events calendar. Kicking off in March, the 5-day Rangers Elite Soccer Camp gave aspiring young players personalized training and potential scouting opportunities. In May and November, our electrifying JSA 7’s football tournaments brought kids and teens together for some friendly competition. June saw FINNS Recreation Club sports field transform for The Bali Masters Tournament, hosted by Bali Geckos, a 3 day event featuring over 30 international teams, the biggest Australian football tournament in the world! This July, swimmers raced for glory at our Klim Swim Invitational meet. We also had the honor of two 5-day Real Madrid Soccer Clinics, where players honed skills under renowned coaches. September brought crowds together for both the 24-hour Shuffle & Strides charity marathon and a lively AFL Grand Final viewing. Capping the year, over 700 gathered for a festive Christmas Winter Wonderland celebration.

Alongside spectacular events, we enhanced our facilities over 2023. Our refurbished Splash Water Park, renovated Fitness Centre, refreshed Sports Bar and updated Co-Working area have all elevated the member experience. The Gym’s improvements like new ice baths, jacuzzis and state-of-the-art TechnoGym equipment have modernized workouts, while the Co-Working Area fosters connectivity. Sports Bar’s indoor upgrades and bistro.c’s revitalization have created upscale, lively spaces for gathering. Ultimately, we’ve reinvented key venues to enrich time spent at the club.

The opening of One Two Boxing in September 2023 has been a crowning addition to FINNS Recreation Club. As Canggu’s biggest boxing studio, it delivers unmatched amenities. The two-tier design offers traditional boxing upstairs and dynamic fitness classes downstairs. With bags galore, a genuine boxing ring and over 20 weekly classes, from newbies to devoted boxers can find an experience to match their passion. As FINNS Bali members can utilize One Two Boxing, it expands the world-class fitness opportunities available.

As we reflect on 2023, FINNS Recreation Club has an incredible year to celebrate, full of milestone moments that enhanced experiences and offerings. We look forward to building upon 2023’s foundations to continue delivering spectacular experiences in the years ahead. To all members and visitors who shared in this journey – thank you for an amazing year!

Deep Stretch

Designed to improve flexibility, release tension, and promote relaxation, perfect for all fitness levels and focuses on deep, extended stretches inspired by yoga principles, poses are held for several minutes to deeply stretch muscles, focus on deep breathing to enhance relaxation with slow, and easy movements.

Dance with alexa

This energetic and enjoyable dance combining afro & Hip hop moves to help you burn calories, improve coordination of all muscle group, with a breakdown step of choreography that fit to all level dancers, boost your mood and improve your coordination.

SWIM FIT
  

Led by Klim Swim accredited coaches, this is an adult swim class that allows you to improve your cardio vascular health and overall strength as you swim at your own pace. This class is easy on the joints yet challenging enough to help you increase your level of fitness.

Mobility Full Body

A training system dedicated to promoting joint mobility & flexibility, to improve range of motion. It combines dynamic stretches and movement patterns to promote joint health and muscle function. Suitable for all fitness levels.

ADVANCED BOXING WITH AK

Join AK, a professional international boxer and seasoned coach, for an intensive advanced boxing session. This class is tailored for experienced boxers looking to push their limits and elevate their game. AK will share his expert knowledge and training techniques, focusing on advanced strategies, intricate combinations, and high-intensity drills. Perfect your craft under the guidance of a true professional and take your boxing skills to the next level.

Movement Flow
A training system to Focus on dynamic movement transition to allow the body to be active as one unit, movement related as such as animal flow, capoeira, bodyweight and calisthenics.
Elevate

Elevate your fitness game with lower body first and boxing second! Start your workout by building on your lower body strength and endurance! Then strap up the gloves and work through our boxing rounds that have been infused with footwork drills and fast combos.

Boxer
Designed like it’s the last workout of a boxers training camp.

The energy is high and the combos are long! The workout is challenging physically and mentally and will build a stronger body and mind. Our most loved workout! Push yourself through a blend of boxing and total body resistance!
Tech Boxing

A traditional boxing class designed for fitness, flow and technique.

You’ll experience a range of boxing combos, styles and intensities in an epic 45 minute boxing based workout. This class finishes with a total body resistance circuit! A great 45 minute class where you can work on the basics and focus on yourself!

Boxing Conditioning
A 60 Minute Class focuses on your Boxing Fitness and Endurance. The Class is filled with high paced Bag Work, conditioning drills, and boxing specific exercises.
Ignite Boxing

Feel the fire and ignite your inner boxer! Enter our action packed class loaded with boxing for 4 rounds. Boxing finishes with bag sprints to test your fitness and focus. We then transition into resistance working a combination of strength and conditioning.

30 Boxing
Our RAPID fire boxing class. A high tempo action packed 30-minute boxing only class designed to maximize energy burn, sweat and rapidly increase fitness levels.
Friday Blast

Boxing and core blast!

Body cOMBAT
an exercise class that lets you punch and kick your way towards your fitness goals. Not only is it a great whole-body workout for cardio fitness, but it’s also superb for burning fat, releasing stress and improving your co-ordination.
Cycle 45
Get ready for the ride of your life. CYCLE is the way to get fit fast, where you control the workout. Simulating a variety of different cycling rides, CYCLE is a non-impact way to improve cardiovascular capacity and to shred body fat. Set to uplifting music, CYCLE is a great workout for any level of fitness.
Core express

Core Express program is designed for those who want to build abdominal muscles and eliminate back problems by strengthening that muscle group.

Aquarobic
A great way to mix up a traditional gym workout with the incredible benefits of water. Classes focus on a aerobic endurance, resistance training, and creating a fun atmosphere with music.
Zumba

Is a dance workout that instructors say is primarily an aerobic workout, and it’s all about having fun

Core & Booty
The first part of this class focuses on abdominals, back and posture for 30 mins. The second half of the class focuses on legs, butt and hamstrings. The whole class will provide you with a great effective and fun workout on those areas that we find hard to target.
Step
Choose your intensity by selecting the adjustable height of your Step and get ready to burn calories and shape your lower body. Rhythmic-Aerobic movements are combined with powerful and energetic music to challenge mind and body together.
Crazy Circuit
Body conditioning that uses high-intensity training. Focuses on all muscles groups, targeting strength, endurance, and body coordination to help you burn fat faster.
thE bAR TRAINING (BODY PUMP)

Body Pump is a barbell-based workout that’s designed to tone and strengthen your entire body. Set to energetic music, this class uses high repetitions and light to moderate weights to give you a full-body workout that targets all major muscle groups. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced lifter, Body Pump is an effective and enjoyable way to build strength and improve your fitness.

pilates
Get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core. You’ll get stronger, more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You may also have better posture and a better sense of well-being.
Athletic Burn

A workout designed to build muscle and encourage fat loss at the same time. Using functional equipment with muscle timing activation, which involves more muscle group action.

Sunday Strength & Conditioning

Is a workout strategy to maximize calorie burn both during and after your workout. To achieve this result, you give a maximum physical effort through a series of compound movements (using more than one muscle group at a time) for a short, intense period.

TRX Training
Through a range of coordinated moves and using the principles of gravity and leverage, TRX incorporates hundreds of exercises that have revolutionized bodyweight training. The intensity of the workout is determined by the individual – subtle movements can make sessions as hard as desired, so everyone can join!
Creative Flow
A training system to Focus on dynamic movement transition to allow the body to be active as one unit, movement related as such as animal flow, capoeira, bodyweight and calisthenics.
Yin Yoga
Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity. This practice integrates the ancient Yoga teachings with Meridian Theory as taught in Chinese Medicine. Engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize the body’s vital life force or chi. As the whole body rests and opens with long held poses, the natural healing power of chi is used to rejuvenate and repair the area of focus.
Vinyasa yoga
Vinyasa (translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.
Hatha yoga
Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that uses physical techniques to try to preserve and channel vital force or energy. The Sanskrit word हठ haṭha literally means “force”, alluding to a system of physical techniques.
Grounding & Stress release
Grounding is to be connected to and aware of the body and the emotions, enabling us to work on releasing stress and physical tensions. The result is increased awareness, presence, aliveness, more energy and a peaceful mind.
Breath work

Is a type of exercise that focuses on consciously manipulating your breathing rate and depth so that you become more aware of it and can gain various benefits.

Power Yoga
Increase clarity, focus and energy levels. Release stress and boost your immunity through conscious, connected breathing. Focus on connecting mind and body to calm and streng then both, as one in separable unit.
