Important updates at FINNS Recreation Club. We are saying goodbye to the West facilities and Junior Sports Academy as we launch Canggu Padel.

To continually improve our facilities and offerings, we’re making some changes to our West facilities. Effective 3 February 2025, the following will be closing:

  • Bounce Trampoline Centre
  • Strike Ten Pin Bowling
  • Cubby House Kids Club
  • One Two Boxing
  • Tennis Centre

We understand this may be disappointing news for members who enjoy these facilities, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, this closure paves the way for fantastic new and improved amenities!

The Junior Sports Academy has been a source of joy, growth, and unforgettable moments. We’ve witnessed incredible talent, sportsmanship, and friendships blossom. We’re proud of the role the Academy has played in fostering a love of sports and healthy competition among our young members.

Sadly, as we continually strive to provide the best experience for our members, we’re announcing the conclusion of our Junior Sports Academy programme. We want to express our sincere gratitude to all the amazing children and families who have made the Academy such a vibrant and memorable part of our community.

Deep Stretch

Tech Boxing

A traditional boxing class designed for fitness, flow and technique.

Core Express program is designed for those who want to build abdominal muscles and eliminate back problems by strengthening that muscle group.

Core & Booty
The first part of this class focuses on abdominals, back and posture for 30 mins. The second half of the class focuses on legs, butt and hamstrings. The whole class will provide you with a great effective and fun workout on those areas that we find hard to target.
Step
Choose your intensity by selecting the adjustable height of your Step and get ready to burn calories and shape your lower body. Rhythmic-Aerobic movements are combined with powerful and energetic music to challenge mind and body together.
Crazy Circuit
Body conditioning that uses high-intensity training. Focuses on all muscles groups, targeting strength, endurance, and body coordination to help you burn fat faster.
thE bAR TRAINING (BODY PUMP)

Body Pump is a barbell-based workout that’s designed to tone and strengthen your entire body. Set to energetic music, this class uses high repetitions and light to moderate weights to give you a full-body workout that targets all major muscle groups. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced lifter, Body Pump is an effective and enjoyable way to build strength and improve your fitness.

pilates
Get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core. You’ll get stronger, more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You may also have better posture and a better sense of well-being.
Athletic Burn

A workout designed to build muscle and encourage fat loss at the same time. Using functional equipment with muscle timing activation, which involves more muscle group action.

Sunday Strength & Conditioning

Is a workout strategy to maximize calorie burn both during and after your workout. To achieve this result, you give a maximum physical effort through a series of compound movements (using more than one muscle group at a time) for a short, intense period.

TRX Training
Through a range of coordinated moves and using the principles of gravity and leverage, TRX incorporates hundreds of exercises that have revolutionized bodyweight training. The intensity of the workout is determined by the individual – subtle movements can make sessions as hard as desired, so everyone can join!

Yin Yoga
Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity. This practice integrates the ancient Yoga teachings with Meridian Theory as taught in Chinese Medicine. Engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize the body’s vital life force or chi. As the whole body rests and opens with long held poses, the natural healing power of chi is used to rejuvenate and repair the area of focus.
Vinyasa yoga
Vinyasa (translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.
Hatha yoga
Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that uses physical techniques to try to preserve and channel vital force or energy. The Sanskrit word हठ haṭha literally means “force”, alluding to a system of physical techniques.
Grounding & Stress release
Grounding is to be connected to and aware of the body and the emotions, enabling us to work on releasing stress and physical tensions. The result is increased awareness, presence, aliveness, more energy and a peaceful mind.
Breath work

Is a type of exercise that focuses on consciously manipulating your breathing rate and depth so that you become more aware of it and can gain various benefits.

Power Yoga
Increase clarity, focus and energy levels. Release stress and boost your immunity through conscious, connected breathing. Focus on connecting mind and body to calm and streng then both, as one in separable unit.
