FINNS Bali is more than just a destination for lively beach parties, family fun, and tranquil escapes; it’s an organisation deeply committed to environmental sustainability and social responsibility across all its locations. Our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to share some of our recent achievements in this area.
Investing in Bali’s Future: Education and Youth Empowerment
We believe that education is key to empowering the next generation and creating a brighter future for Bali. From October to December, we were thrilled to receive the prestigious Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSP) award from Badung Regency in recognition of our efforts to support education.
Our initiatives include providing scholarships for underprivileged children in partnership with Stella’s Child Foundation and collaborating with universities to offer skills training and educational programs. We’re committed to helping young people reach their full potential and contribute to their communities.
Connecting with Our Community: Outreach and Support
We’re passionate about giving back to the communities around us. Our SoleFamily Outreach Program has been busy providing food packages, health checks, and support to various areas of Bali, including Buleleng, Denpasar, Karangasem, and Klungkung.
We also love hosting Kids Fun Days, where we invite children from orphanages and foundations to enjoy our facilities at FINNS Recreation Club. It’s a great way to spread some joy and create lasting memories.
Extending a Helping Hand: Supporting Those in Need
We’re always looking for ways to give back and support those in need. From October to December, we facilitated IDR 457,975,000 in donations, IDR 139,444,119 raised through our Web Opt-In program, distributed 3,348 essential items, and offered vouchers to various organisations, including SoleFamily, Stella’s Child, Merah Putih Hijau, Aku for Bali, and others.
Empowering Through Knowledge: Women’s Health Initiatives
We’re committed to supporting women’s health and well-being. In partnership with Perfect Fit, we organised a women’s health training session at the PKP Community Centre, focusing on raising awareness and supporting the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
FINNS Go Green: Preserving Our Paradise
In December alone, we recycled 80% of the 196 tons of waste generated at FINNS Beach Club. We also conducted an external audit on waste management from October to December, which confirmed that 80% of all FINNS waste is recycled.
This quarter, our weekly beach clean-ups collected a total of 73 kg of organic waste and 22 kg of non-organic waste, preventing it from polluting our oceans. Working together with the Bali Youth Parliament for Water, FINNS Bali planted around 100 bamboo seedlings in the Batukaru area of Tabanan to help conserve water in the area.
