Leading with Purpose: FINNS Bali’s 2023 ESG Initiatives

FINNS Bali is committed to giving back to local communities through its 2023 ESG initiatives, focusing on sustainability and social responsibility.

As a leading lifestyle company in Bali, FINNS Bali is committed to operating sustainably and giving back to the local community. In 2023, FINNS Bali continued to make an impact through its environmental, social, and governance efforts from supporting children’s charities to cleaning up beaches. By reviewing these highlights, we hope to provide transparency into how FINNS Bali creates value for Bali and its visitors.

Giving Back to Local Communities

In 2023, FINNS Bali continued its commitment to supporting local communities in Bali. Through its VIP Orphanages program, we hosted fun days for 7 orphanages, bringing joy to 363 children in Cubby House Kids Club and Bounce facilities. We donated over 2,920 items including groceries, toys, clothes, and more to charities like SoleFamily, Stella’s Child, and local villages. As the main sponsor for Stella’s Child, FINNS Bali helped provide skills training in entrepreneurship, English, and computers for over 100 kids and youth to empower them for their futures.

Keeping Bali’s Beaches Pristine

Maintaining Bali’s beautiful beaches and oceans is a top priority. Throughout 2023, FINNS Bali conducted weekly beach clean ups with a total of 705 staff members participating. Together we collected 398.003 kg of non-organic waste and 403.93 kg of organic waste on the beach, preventing this waste from polluting the oceans. Through efforts like this, FINNS Bali makes sustainability a team effort.

Overall, 2023 was a year where we made a positive difference through its CSR and ESG initiatives. By supporting local communities, sponsoring children’s education, and protecting Bali’s natural beauty, FINNS Bali is committed to giving back and leading in environmental stewardship.

Inversion

This inversion class focuses on building strength, balance, and body awareness through handstands, headstands, and other upside-down poses. We will work on alignment, technique, and proper safety measures to perform inversions with confidence and control.

Hiit

HIIT is a type of interval training exercise. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between several minutes of high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate to at least 80% of one’s maximum heart rate, followed by short periods of lower intensity movements. Interval training is good to improve performance.

Armballe is a dynamic and challenging group fitness class that combines elements of yoga, handstands, and balance work to help you build core strength, stability, and body awareness. Designed for those looking to push their physical limits, Armbale focuses on mastering handstand variations and balance postures while extending the benefits of traditional yoga practices.

Strength & Conditioning
Strength and Conditioning Boxing class is a high-intensity workout designed to improve your overall fitness through the powerful combination of boxing techniques and strength training. This class is perfect for individuals of all fitness levels who are looking to build muscle, enhance cardiovascular endurance, and learn effective boxing skills.
Deep Stretch

Designed to improve flexibility, release tension, and promote relaxation, perfect for all fitness levels and focuses on deep, extended stretches inspired by yoga principles, poses are held for several minutes to deeply stretch muscles, focus on deep breathing to enhance relaxation with slow, and easy movements.

Dance with alexa

This energetic and enjoyable dance combining afro & Hip hop moves to help you burn calories, improve coordination of all muscle group, with a breakdown step of choreography that fit to all level dancers, boost your mood and improve your coordination.

SWIM FIT
  

Led by Klim Swim accredited coaches, this is an adult swim class that allows you to improve your cardio vascular health and overall strength as you swim at your own pace. This class is easy on the joints yet challenging enough to help you increase your level of fitness.

Mobility Full Body

A training system dedicated to promoting joint mobility & flexibility, to improve range of motion. It combines dynamic stretches and movement patterns to promote joint health and muscle function. Suitable for all fitness levels.

ADVANCED BOXING WITH AK

Join AK, a professional international boxer and seasoned coach, for an intensive advanced boxing session. This class is tailored for experienced boxers looking to push their limits and elevate their game. AK will share his expert knowledge and training techniques, focusing on advanced strategies, intricate combinations, and high-intensity drills. A training system to Focus on dynamic movement transition to allow the body to be active as one unit, movement related as such as animal flow, capoeira, bodyweight and calisthenics.
Elevate

Elevate your fitness game with lower body first and boxing second! Start your workout by building on your lower body strength and endurance! Then strap up the gloves and work through our boxing rounds that have been infused with footwork drills and fast combos.

Designed like it’s the last workout of a boxers training camp.

The energy is high and the combos are long! The workout is challenging physically and mentally and will build a stronger body and mind. Our most loved workout! Push yourself through a blend of boxing and total body resistance!
Tech Boxing

A traditional boxing class designed for fitness, flow and technique.

You’ll experience a range of boxing combos, styles and intensities in an epic 45 minute boxing based workout. This class finishes with a total body resistance circuit! A great 45 minute class where you can work on the basics and focus on yourself!

A 60 Minute Class focuses on your Boxing Fitness and Endurance. The Class is filled with high paced Bag Work, conditioning drills, and boxing specific exercises.

Core Express program is designed for those who want to build abdominal muscles and eliminate back problems by strengthening that muscle group.

The first part of this class focuses on abdominals, back and posture for 30 mins. The second half of the class focuses on legs, butt and hamstrings. The whole class will provide you with a great effective and fun workout on those areas that we find hard to target.
Step
Choose your intensity by selecting the adjustable height of your Step and get ready to burn calories and shape your lower body. Rhythmic-Aerobic movements are combined with powerful and energetic music to challenge mind and body together.
Crazy Circuit
Body conditioning that uses high-intensity training. Focuses on all muscles groups, targeting strength, endurance, and body coordination to help you burn fat faster.
thE bAR TRAINING (BODY PUMP)

Body Pump is a barbell-based workout that’s designed to tone and strengthen your entire body. Set to energetic music, this class uses high repetitions and light to moderate weights to give you a full-body workout that targets all major muscle groups. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced lifter, Body Pump is an effective and enjoyable way to build strength and improve your fitness.

pilates
Get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core. You’ll get stronger, more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You may also have better posture and a better sense of well-being.
Athletic Burn

A workout designed to build muscle and encourage fat loss at the same time. Using functional equipment with muscle timing activation, which involves more muscle group action.

Sunday Strength & Conditioning

Is a workout strategy to maximize calorie burn both during and after your workout. To achieve this result, you give a maximum physical effort through a series of compound movements (using more than one muscle group at a time) for a short, intense period.

TRX Training
Through a range of coordinated moves and using the principles of gravity and leverage, TRX incorporates hundreds of exercises that have revolutionized bodyweight training. The intensity of the workout is determined by the individual – subtle movements can make sessions as hard as desired, so everyone can join!
Creative Flow

Yin Yoga
Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity. This practice integrates the ancient Yoga teachings with Meridian Theory as taught in Chinese Medicine. Engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize the body’s vital life force or chi. As the whole body rests and opens with long held poses, the natural healing power of chi is used to rejuvenate and repair the area of focus.
Vinyasa yoga
Vinyasa (translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.
Hatha yoga
Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that uses physical techniques to try to preserve and channel vital force or energy. The Sanskrit word हठ haṭha literally means “force”, alluding to a system of physical techniques.
Grounding & Stress release
Grounding is to be connected to and aware of the body and the emotions, enabling us to work on releasing stress and physical tensions. The result is increased awareness, presence, aliveness, more energy and a peaceful mind.
Breath work

Is a type of exercise that focuses on consciously manipulating your breathing rate and depth so that you become more aware of it and can gain various benefits.

Power Yoga
Increase clarity, focus and energy levels. Release stress and boost your immunity through conscious, connected breathing. Focus on connecting mind and body to calm and streng then both, as one in separable unit.
