FINNS Tennis in Bali is one of the first and best indoor tennis centres on the island. The facility boasts 2 flood lit tennis courts with Flexi-pave surface. 

FINNS Tennis provides a wide selection of training programmes that suit players of all levels and ages, all year round. Our commitment to providing quality coaching, exceptional services and incomparable customer care keep our community coming back again and again.

Our Philosophy

Tennis is an all action, high intensity, tactical game of sending and receiving. Here at FINNS Tennis we create drills and games based around these fundamentals of the game.  By signing up to one of our classes we guarantee to make you more equipped to play the game of tennis. 

We aim to improve technique, tactical awareness, transferable fitness components and problem solving abilities. Our technical teaching will help you produce more effective strokes and allow you to recognise and problem solve your own mistakes.

​We’ll equip you with tactical information that will allow you to make quick and clear decisions on the court. You’ll learn how to efficiently cover the court, making yourself tough to beat. You’ll improve fitness components which transfer to other sports as well as everyday life.

The FINNS Junior Sports Academy (JSA) Tennis Programme is split into 4 colors of balls: Red, Orange, Green and Yellow, which represent different classes.

Each color is also divided into 3 different levels based on age and ability: 1, 2 and 3. Previously Starter, Intermediate and Performance. Different colors and levels utilize different equipment and court sizes that are in line with the International Tennis Federation’s guidelines on developing junior players.

Levels do have age guidelines, but players may be moved up or stay in levels based on skill. The objective is to enable better learning by placing players around the same ability together.

NINING

Head Coach

Nining Comes from Bali, has 17 years of coaching experience, and is an ITF qualified coach.

She was ranked no.1 in Indonesia at under14 level and was ranked no.9 in Indonesia at senior level at the age of just 14. She has been a Bali singles/doubles champion for over 10 years.

As a coach Nining has been tutored by some of the best ITF coaches in the world. She has previously been Head Coach of FINNS Bali before moving abroad to gain valuable experience around the world.

Nining has also competed in marathons and has a passion for cooking, specializing in Asian food.

AYU MAHARANI

Lead Coach

Meet Ayu – with over 4 years of coaching experience, she loves sharing her expertise with aspiring players. She first picked up a racket at age 6 and went on to become the Porprov South Kalimantan singles champion. Ayu has also represented Indonesia on the national stage, achieving a ranking of 12th. Her playing career highlights include winning gold at an international tournament in South Korea.

As a coach, Ayu draws on her experiences training under renowned ITF coaches worldwide. She is currently a player in the 2024 South Kalimantan National Sports League (PON). Let Ayu’s infectious enthusiasm for tennis elevate your skills during a coaching session with her!

TRIO SEKADANG

Development Coach

Trio comes from Bali and is an ITF qualified coach with 13 years coaching experience.

He started playing tennis at 9 years old and has been a Bali Champion in singles and doubles multiple times.

Trio has been a loyal FINNS Bali employee since it’s opening 12 years ago. He has worked with thousands of children and adults, gaining a lot of experience in teaching methods and tennis knowledge along the way.

When he’s not on court Trio is a family man, he loves fishing, motocross and listening to music.

Junior Development Coach

Imron has been an integral part of FINNS Tennis Center for over a decade. Before transitioning to his coaching role, he spent over 7 years as a hitting partner and assistant coach, honing his skills on the court.

His dedicated focus on assisting our Junior Sports Academy players reflects a commitment to nurturing emerging talents. Imron’s extensive experience and vibrant energy promise an exceptional enhancement to the coaching and playing experience for our valued members and clients.

Armballe is a dynamic and challenging group fitness class that combines elements of yoga, handstands, and balance work to help you build core strength, stability, and body awareness. Strength & Conditioning
Strength and Conditioning Boxing class is a high-intensity workout designed to improve your overall fitness through the powerful combination of boxing techniques and strength training. Deep Stretch

Tech Boxing

A traditional boxing class designed for fitness, flow and technique.

Crazy Circuit

thE bAR TRAINING (BODY PUMP)

Body Pump is a barbell-based workout that’s designed to tone and strengthen your entire body. Sunday Strength & Conditioning

TRX Training

Yin Yoga
Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity. This practice integrates the ancient Yoga teachings with Meridian Theory as taught in Chinese Medicine. Engage the body’s natural healing power as you actively nourish and harmonize the body’s vital life force or chi. As the whole body rests and opens with long held poses, the natural healing power of chi is used to rejuvenate and repair the area of focus.
Vinyasa yoga
Vinyasa (translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.
Hatha yoga
Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that uses physical techniques to try to preserve and channel vital force or energy. The Sanskrit word हठ haṭha literally means “force”, alluding to a system of physical techniques.
Grounding & Stress release
Grounding is to be connected to and aware of the body and the emotions, enabling us to work on releasing stress and physical tensions. The result is increased awareness, presence, aliveness, more energy and a peaceful mind.
Breath work

Is a type of exercise that focuses on consciously manipulating your breathing rate and depth so that you become more aware of it and can gain various benefits.
